Senior SDET (Hybrid – Guadalajara, Mexico) en Crossbridge

We’re currently looking for a Senior SDET to join a high-impact engineering team in Guadalajara.

This is not a traditional QA role — we’re looking for someone with a strong development background who can design and scale test automation frameworks while contributing directly to engineering efforts.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for web apps, APIs, and backend systems
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery
• Define and execute automated testing strategies (functional, regression, integration, etc.)
• Perform advanced debugging and root cause analysis across distributed systems
• Define and improve quality metrics ( SLOs, SLIs, test coverage, reliability KPIs )
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to prevent issues early
• Leverage modern tools and AI-assisted testing approaches to improve efficiency
• Contribute to architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical decisions

• 10+ years of experience in engineering / SDET roles
• Strong software development background ( Java or C# – C# preferred )
• Proven experience building and scaling test automation frameworks
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Playwright ( mandatory )
  • TypeScript / JavaScript
• Experience designing automation frameworks (not just scripting)
• Strong experience integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of APIs, system design, and distributed systems
• Experience with modern frameworks (e.g., Nest.js)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools/workflows
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment
