Senior Backend Engineer (Go / Golang) (Hybrid – Guadalajara, Mexico) en Crossbridge

We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Go / Golang) to join a high-impact engineering team based in Guadalajara.

This role focuses on designing, building, and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend systems using Golang. We are looking for someone with strong experience in distributed systems, APIs, and modern backend architecture who can contribute to reliable, production-grade applications.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Golang (Go)
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and security of backend systems
• Work within distributed systems and cloud-based environments
• Implement and manage observability and monitoring solutions such as Dynatrace, logging, and metrics
• Analyze system performance using logs, metrics, and tracing tools
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues and system failures
• Optimize backend systems for efficiency, throughput, and reliability
• Contribute to and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system design, architecture, and delivery
• Participate in code reviews and technical decision-making
• Ensure high standards of code quality, testing, and documentation

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in backend engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang (Go)
• Solid experience in backend development including APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or similar
• Strong understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Experience handling data, concurrency, and backend architecture principles
• Experience analyzing logs, metrics, and system behavior in production environments
• Familiarity with Node.js or JavaScript ecosystem is a plus
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment
• Strong communication skills in English
