Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of full-stack software engineering experience designing and building enterprise applications.
  • Solid experience designing and implementing web applications and services using C# and .NET.
  • Proficiency in frontend development with Angular or React.
  • Experience working in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
  • Familiarity with container and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
  • Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server or Postgres.
  • Self-sufficient, capable of completing projects with minimal guidance.
  • Leadership experience, including mentoring junior developers and leading technical initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal teams, external customers, and partners.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Job Responsibilities

Description:

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Patient Access Engineering team. This team is responsible for the development of the Patient Access product, which uses biometric identification to link patients to their correct medical records. Patient Access enhances patient safety and satisfaction, eliminates duplicate medical records, and protects against identity theft and insurance fraud.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will be part of an agile team working to expand our Patient Access product in the cloud. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a group of talented and motivated engineers to solve highly complex problems. You will interface with various roles throughout the product lifecycle, including Development, QA, Product Management, User Experience, and Release Management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, and test new Patient Access features.
  • Develop and code unit and automated tests.
  • Collaborate with a Scrum team to plan, scope, build, and deliver software.
  • Ensure the system scales to support the largest healthcare organizations.
  • Research, devise, and propose solutions to challenging problems in patient identity.
  • Train and mentor newer members of a growing team.

Our customer is a healthcare IT security company that provides healthcare organizations with a platform addressing critical compliance and security challenges while improving provider productivity. The goal is to create a SaaS product from the ground up in a public cloud framework.
