IT Auditor Intermediate

General Description

OCD Tech MX is in search of an experienced Information Technology Auditor to join their IT Audit & Security practice group. The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with their US parent company, OCD Tech LLC. This role involves performing various IT audit tasks for clients, including IT audit and compliance, technology risk assessment, and IT security services.

Job Responsibilities:

·        Conduct information systems audit work, understanding scope, conducting audit tests, and documenting results.

·        Perform audits in areas such as IT infrastructure, IT governance, Business Continuity Management, GRC, and Information Security

·        Review and assess network/systems, corporate security policies, and vulnerabilities.

·        Utilize frameworks like COBIT, COSO, and ITIL for audit procedures.

·        Manage projects effectively and communicate results through written reports.

Qualifications:

·        Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in IT audit, risk management, or IT control environments.

·        Proficiency  in IT controls, risks,  governance, information security,  

·        Experience with industry standards and regulations like CIS Critical Security Controls, NIST 800-53/800-171, and/or ISO 27001/27002.

·        Ability to conduct IT audits, interviews, evaluate internal controls, and write audit reports.

·        Execute audits, applying IT audit methodologies, to provide, monitor and follow up results and findings audit.

·        Perform risk based and security audits.

·        Strong analytical skills to identify and solve problems effectively.

·        Fluent English language skills are required.

·        Knowledge in SOC 2, ISMS

·        Risk Management

·        IT security and security testing knowledge

·        Advanced Microsoft Excel techniques such as PowerQuery, nice to have

Must-Haves

·        At least one of the following certifications: CISA, CIPP, CISM, CISSP, CEH, ISC, Security+, CRISC, CGEIT, CNE, CCP, CHFI, CSP, MCT, or MSMIS.

Soft Skills:

·        Effective written and verbal communication skills.

·        Information analysis, or strong analytical skill

·        Strong project management abilities.
