Pre Sales Engineer responsibilities:

  • Act as a technical advisor to the sales team by providing expertise in our software development services and solutions
  • Understand and analyze customer needs and requirements and provide technical solutions and demonstrations to support the sales process
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure that proposed solutions are technically feasible and aligned with customer needs
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations
  • Keep up with industry trends in software development to ensure our solutions are competitive and relevant
  • Participate in the definition of product and solution requirements.

Pre Sales Engineer  Qualifications / Skills:

  • Communication: A pre-sales engineer must have excellent verbal and written communication skills such as negotiation and persuasion, as they will be communicating with potential customers and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Presentation: The ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to potential customers is essential for a pre-sales engineer, as they will often be responsible for demonstrating how the company's products or services can meet customer needs.
  • Problem solving: A pre-sales engineer must have strong problem solving skills and be able to think creatively to find solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Interpersonal : A pre-sales engineer must be able to establish and maintain good relationships with customers, as well as internal stakeholders, in order to be effective in their role.
  • Technical knowledge: The pre-sales engineer must have a good knowledge of software development and be able to assess the feasibility of developments and the scope of technologies at a high level.
  • Adaptability: A pre-sales engineer must be able to adapt to different industries, clients and projects, being able to understand the client's needs and requirements and provide technical solutions and demonstrations to support the sales process.
  • Leadership: A pre-sales engineer must have leadership skills and be able to lead and coordinate the work of the development team

Education, Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Extensive technical knowledge in software development and product development
  • Experience in pre-sales and sales support, including the ability to understand and analyze customer needs and provide technical solutions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with various departments
  • Experience in a software development agency is a plus.
