This is an exciting time to join AstraZeneca in a greenfield project as our first Adaptive Learning Design Lead. It is therefore essential that you are not only tech savvy, but also adaptable, innovative, and comfortable working with evolving AI technologies and external partners.


As our Adaptive Learning Design Lead, you will oversee the Development of Adaptive Technology and collaborate with Learning Practitioners and Content Designers across AstraZeneca to understand what the strategic vision and learning objectives are of a given business area and translating that strategic high-level vision into an adaptive learning format.
 

Responsibilities :

  • Strategy and planning
  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for adaptive learning technology.
  • Understand how the Adaptive Learning Technology integrates with the rest of our tech stack i.e. how adaptive learning integrates with Degreed.
  • Collaborate with Team members across the business to; understanding what is trying to be achieved by the business area and translating that information into an adaptive format working with the help of Global Learning Shared Services on the design of the content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and content developers to analyse learning objectives, identify learner profiles, and create adaptive learning designs that personalize the learning experience.
  • Partnering with collaborators to identify and prioritize target areas for adaptive technology implementation.
  • Design and oversee the development of adaptive learning tech solutions, including content sequencing, assessment strategies, and user feedback mechanisms.
  • Conduct needs assessments and analyse user requirements to determine the optimal use of adaptive learning technology.
  • Testing and evaluate effectiveness through conducting formative and summative evaluations to assess the effectiveness of the adaptive learning solutions by collecting learner feedback and continuously iterate on the design to optimize learning outcomes.


Critical criteria:

  • Keen attention to detail and focus on data accuracy. 
  • Technical Background with a minimum of 6+ years’ experience
  • Previous experience working with SCORM packages.
  • Proven experience as learning Designer
  • Worked with Instructional Design for a Vendor on specific content.
  • Proven experience working with Adaptive content.
  • Adaptable and open to continual learning - would be trained on our adaptive Learning system (Realizeit)
  • Previous experience working with Sana Labs or one of the following: 360 Learning, Talent LMS, Absorbe LMS, Litmos, Blackboard Learn, WorkRamp, Workday, Leapsome.
     

Desirable criteria:

  • Leading a platform on standard methodologies in technology or key architectural concepts
  • Saba Cloud and/or Degreed experience
