Qualifications: 


Education: Engineering, Architecture or  related Professional Card or Job Title (necessary)

Valid Visa (preferable)

Work Modality: 100 % Plant in USA (On Site)

Medical Test (necessary)

Language: Fluent English (B2, C1, C2)

Hours per week: 40 - 60hrs (during construction/installation)

Availability to travel aroud USA

Job Summary


The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of an EPC contract involving construction and building works in a multi-contractor environment. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring that the project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.



Key Responsibilities:


- Completion and comment on design reviews for all disciplines,

- Completion of all pre-construction planning documentation, providing inputs and expertise,

- Preparation and planning associated with Site Mobilization, including Site trailer set up,

- Identification of requirements for site, including materials and resources,

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the construction site, including managing subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers,

- Work closely and coordinate Site based Siemens Energy team members, incl. but not limited to Document Manager, Project Engineer, Supervisors, Commissioning Personnel

- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the project schedule in a safe manner, within budget, and quality requirements,

- Promote the Zero Harm policies in everyday life while on the project,

- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets,

- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and ensure that appropriate corrective actions are taken,

- Ensure that all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and properly filed,

- Monitor progress of the project and report on status to the project team and stakeholders,

- Collaborate with the project team to develop and implement safety and environmental plans,

- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with legal, regulatory, and company requirements,

- Manage project change requests and ensure that they are properly documented and approved,

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers.


Key attributes:


- Experience 5 years working on EPC contracts involving construction and building works in a multi-contractor environment,

- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and principles, as well as safety and environmental regulations,

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders,

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues,

- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment,

- Proficient in project/construction management software and tools,

- The drive and enthusiasm to proactively handle all issues, matters and challenges on the project site.

- OSHA 30 safety training

- Willingness and availability to travel for long durations
