Job Description

As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

Position Requirements

Degree Preferred:  Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 

 

Certifications (nice to have)

SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Certified Application Associate - Modeling and Data Acquisition with SAP BW/4HANA, and SAP Certified Technology Associate - SAP HANA. 

 

Required Skills

  • SAP EDW Tools: Proficiency in using SAP EDW tools such as SAP BW (Business Warehouse), SAP HANA, SAP Data Services, and SAP Analytics Cloud. This includes knowledge of their functionalities, configuration, and customization options.  

  • Data Modeling: Understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques, including dimensional modeling, star schemas, and snowflake schemas. Ability to design and implement efficient and scalable data models within the SAP EDW system.  

  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load): Experience with ETL processes and tools to extract data from various sources, transform it to meet business requirements, and load it into the SAP EDW system. Knowledge of ETL best practices and data integration strategies .  

  • SQL and Database Management: Proficiency in SQL (Structured Query Language) for querying and manipulating data within the SAP EDW system. Knowledge of database management concepts, including indexing, partitioning, and performance optimization.  

  • Data Governance and Quality: Understanding of data governance principles and practices to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and integrity within the SAP EDW system. Knowledge of data quality tools and techniques to identify and resolve data quality issues.  

  • Reporting and Analytics: Experience in developing and maintaining reporting and analytics solutions on top of the SAP EDW system. Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques to create meaningful and actionable insights for business users.  

  • Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to the SAP EDW system. Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, data integration problems, and system errors.
