Especialista en Seguridad de Infraestructura - Nessus Middle - Remoto en Crossbridge

Our client is seeking an infrastructure security specialist with strong hands-on experience in vulnerability management to support enterprise infrastructure security assessments. This role is primarily focused on operating and analyzing Tenable (Nessus / Tenable.io / Tenable.sc) scans across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments, helping identify, validate, and remediate infrastructure security risks.

This is a hands-on execution role, ideal for someone with ~4 years of experience who understands how vulnerability scanning actually works in real environments—not just how to run tools.

Qualifications

·        ~4 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure security or vulnerability management

·        Practical experience with Tenable (Nessus, Tenable.io, or Tenable.sc) in production environments

·        Strong understanding of infrastructure and network security fundamentals (TCP/IP, ports, services, firewalls)

·        Experience with credentialed and non-credentialed scanning

·        Familiarity with tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, or similar

·        Ability to interpret vulnerability data related to operating systems, patching, and configuration issues

·        Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

·        Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

·        Exposure to cloud infrastructure scanning (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

·        Familiarity with CIS benchmarks or infrastructure hardening standards

·        Basic scripting or automation experience (Python preferred)

·        Experience working in regulated or audit-driven environments

Key Responsibilities

·        Execute infrastructure vulnerability scans using Tenable across servers, network devices, and cloud assets

·        Configure and maintain scan policies, credentials, agents, and schedules to ensure accurate results
