FOR EXPANSION WE ARE LOOKING FOR: CLOUD ENGINEER

Location: Puebla

The Challenge: 

To support the Group in cloud engineering activities within the Group Cloud Platform Engineering function. The Cloud Engineer is to provide enhanced engineering support to our brands in the absence of required skills by the existing technical community.

Key Roles and Responsabilities:

·        Work with the product, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure cloud services are appropriately configured for production releases, considering predicted load, scalability, redundancy, resilience, and security. .

·        Facilitate knowledge sharing within internal teams, suppliers, and cross-functional practices, and contribute to the development of internal resources.

·        Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates for inclusion into the  service catalogue for use by development and Cloud Platform Engineering functions

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance or related field

Full professional English

Experience and Skills:

·        Proven track record in AWS service deployments and evolving legacy estates through transformation programs.

·        Experience migrating legacy assets to cloud native technologies.

·        Solid experience in SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS with AWS.

·        Proven ability to influence and guide the direction of cloud transformation initiatives. 

·        Operated within or with Financial Services organisations.

·        AWS SysOps Administrator Associate

·        Up to date knowledge of industry trends and developments in public cloud.

·        Working knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines, and IaC template writing and deployment.

·        Familiarity with the Software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevSecOps models, and Agile development practices.
