C++ Senior Software Engineer

As a Senior C++ Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design and development of software applications across a variety of business domains. You will offer technical leadership, deeply engage with diverse customers, and employ agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions.
About the Role:

Design and Development: Lead the development of secure, scalable, and efficient software applications, addressing critical business needs in areas such as Finance and Operations.

Technical Leadership: Mentor and support engineers of all experience levels, reviewing code and nurturing a collaborative environment to enhance collective technical skills.

Customer Engagement: Deeply understand the needs of a diverse customer base and drive product enhancements to improve their experiences.

Agile Practices: Employ agile methodologies to efficiently deliver solutions, actively participating in all scrum activities.

Systems Analysis: Perform comprehensive systems analysis and design to ensure robust software architecture.

Quality Assurance: Manage all testing phases to guarantee high-quality outputs and implement necessary enhancements.

Collaboration and Co-Creation: Collaborate closely with stakeholders and co-create solutions, maintaining strong, trusted relationships.
About You:

Experience: At least 5 years of C++ programming experience with a robust background in software engineering. Proficiency in XML, JSON, XSLT, C#, .Net, JavaScript, and Python is essential.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with GitHub, static code analysis tools, unit testing frameworks (preferably GoogleTest), and IDEs (VisualStudio preferred). Knowledge of Azure DevOps is advantageous.

Customer Focus: Exceptional understanding of diverse customer needs, adept at using feedback and data to drive decisions.

Problem Solving: Skilled in engaging in constructive dialogue to address complex challenges and committed to delivering outstanding results.
