BI Developer

Position Summary 

Responsible for delivering business insights and enterprise-wide reporting to support data-driven decision-making and performance oversight. Key responsibilities include designing and developing interactive visualizations and analytics using Tableau, and creating robust reporting datasets through Snowflake for both internal and external stakeholders. The position plays a vital role in optimizing reporting processes by automating client report delivery and establishing a consolidated metrics repository to ensure consistency across all reports. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate and comprehensive technical documentation to support ongoing analytics and reporting initiatives.

• Delivering business insights and reporting across the enterprise to support decision making and performance oversight including:

  • Using Tableau to build interactive visualizations and analytics.

  • Creating reporting data sets to be used internally and externally using Snowflake.

  • Optimizing reporting processes - such as automated delivery of client reports.

  • Developing a consolidated metrics repository to drive consistency across reports.

  • Technical documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree or in final term in an IT/Math/Quantitative discipline

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Experience with programming and data analysis using SQL

• Understanding of database models and design (both SQL and noSQL)

• Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, data wrangling, data quality, standardizations,  transformations etc

• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Domo, among others. 

• Experience with relational SQL, including PostgreSQL Snowflake, and MSSQL

• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases -  both operational DBs and data warehouses

• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
