Business Development Manager for Retail Units
Key details about the role:
Title: Business Development Manager (focused on retail units)
Location: Two positions—one in Mexico City and one in Monterrey
On-site work: Yes, based primarily at the office but with frequent travel to meet customers and attend office meetings
Type: Full-time, direct employment with the company (not through a client)
Industry: Retail, with an emphasis on candidates from tier one (top) companies in Mexico (companies like AAN, Cape Gemini, Inforce, and other competitors)
Experience:
Candidates should have experience in the Mexican local market and direct experience with retail customers
Experience working in tier one companies in a similar segment (retail, consumer products)
Preference for candidates with job stability (staying at companies for 3–4 years or more)
Responsibilities:
"Hunter" profile—focused on acquiring new customers, not just managing existing ones
Travel to meet customers and attend meetings at the office
Languages: Must be fluent in English and Spanish
Reporting:
Reports to the segment/unit head (for Monterrey, in Mexico; for Mexico City, the head is based out of Peru)
