Job description:

l   Support Data Migration workshops with customer during Investigation phase, output MOM (minutes of meeting) and track the open topics for closure.

l   Communicate with Customers (technical, business) and understand their migration requirements.

l   Design and align the data migration plan with Customer Data Migration leader and group (high and low level plans, cutover plan, test plan, etc.)

l   Design and align the data migration solution with customer, get formal confirmation of the agreements for further clarification)

l   Clarify the gaps between Customers requirements and Data migration results and provide necessary support for the data migration activities if there is any doubts which need to double check or confirm with customer.

l   Support the Data Migration activities during cutover (migration window), means, track all the activities defined in the migration runbook.

l   3rd party investigation. Figure out all 3rd party systems which get involved in data migration and align the surrounding solution with customers including input/output/files name/path etc.


Experience Requirements:

l   More than one-year experience in BSS/OSS projects.

l   More than one-year experience in Data Migration projects.


Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

l   English as working language (Chinese a plus).

l   Data structure and database.

l   Telecomm Business processes

l   Direct Customer communication.

l   Can operate either as a team member on initiatives, acting as a supporter of expert from HQ

l   Communicates effectively with leadership and team members to define project scope of work and outputs and phased approaches to achieving client's business objectives.
