WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Our positions in Monterrey are hybrid roles enabling our team to work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely . Our office space in Monterrey was designed to promote collaboration for our scrum teams and increase our development velocity. In addition, you'll enjoy a great view of the city, fresh coffee, and the occasional happy hour.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to utilize the Nymbus project management process to oversee diverse projects, including Bank Core Conversion and Digital Launch for key clients.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop and manage the project charter, identify stakeholders, define scope, determine budget, in addition to managing other project requirements.

  • Manage deliverables, budget, and resource allocation. Plan project schedule and milestones, revising as needed to meet changing needs and requirements.

  • Maintain meeting minutes, change logs, and decision requests.

  • Lead, guide, and support project team members, clients, and internal teams to ensure deliverables fall within the designated scope and budget.

  • Create and maintain process documentation, PMO department procedures, and communication standards.

  • Collaborate with peers to control and catalog PMO procedures and templates, fostering a comprehensive and evolving PMO process.

  • Collaborate with third party vendors to integrate and implement software within Nymbus Core and Digital Banking platforms.

  • Generate status reports, agendas, meeting minutes, and lead project meetings that are flexible and productive in achieving goals and objectives.

  • Communicate relevant information to all stakeholders to ensure they are kept up to date on current project state.

  • Create, manage, and update dashboards for leadership and executive teams.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Finance or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, banking, finance and/or PMO.

  • Deep understanding of banking products, including Core, Digital Banking, and New Customer Onboarding.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills to manage internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experience in developing and managing project budgets effectively.

  • Proven experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.

  • Utilizing agile software development tools and techniques, including Scrum and Kanban approaches.

  • Familiarity of root cause analysis (RCA) and brainstorming tools.


 

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

  • 90,000 - 100,000 MXN

  • Hybrid scheme (3 days a week working in the office, 2 days remotely)
