This position is based in MERIDA, YUCATAN, MEXICO.  If you do not live in/around Merida, and are still interested in this position, relocation will be required within 60 days of accepting this position.  Verato will provide a relocation bonus of $42,500 MNX pesos to help with your move.

About the Position


We are seeking a   Technical Program Manager   who is interested in joining a highly dynamic and creative development team.  This is a senior role within the Technology Department.  Verato’s SaaS software offering is a healthcare-specific Master Data Management (hMDM) platform that provides our customers with a complete and trusted 360-degree view of their patients, consumers, and providers. This technical software development position is focused on enhancing an established product based on client needs.  This position   reports to the Head of Program Management   within the Technology Department.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities


  • Oversee, plan, and manage the product development stages, reviewing the development of the product commitment through the release
  • High degree of competency with program management including, Agile methodology, identifying and managing risks, tracking dependencies and milestones, and communicating overall program status
  • Provide cross-functional coordination across Engineering and Product Management, and inter/intra team communications to deliver outstanding program outcomes
  • Experience driving product roadmap strategy and definition with the scrum teams
  • Work with teams to clarify goals and deliverables; Promote planning and prioritization practices based on data
  • Create detailed project plans at each product development stage for maximum efficiency
  • Work closely with engineers, product owners/managers and other engineering teams such as DevOps, Data, Security to get high-quality products and features throughout the software project lifecycle (build, test and release on time)
  • Manage project schedules, identify possible issues, address them proactively, and clearly communicate with project stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities and coordinate the implementation of solutions to improve execution of the organization as a whole, to increase engineering productivity through tools and process improvements
  • Create and refine processes when necessary, maintain focus on reliability, improving team velocity and continual improvements, and automation and scaling
  • Track various key metrics related to process, product and customer that need to be to communicated to stakeholders, analyzing data to help create reports, charts and dashboards; leverage these metrics to drive improvements and influence behaviors
  • Facilitate technical design and architecture discussions across cross-functional teams
  • Decipher technical needs of other departments within the organization and translate them across stakeholder groups
  • Mentor team members on program management discipline and best practices
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related fields or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of industry experience with technical subjects and emerging technologies
  • 5+ years of technical program and project management and using Agile framework Scrum, Kanban etc.,
  • Experience working cross functionality with engineering, product management, and other functions involved in product lifecycle
  • Hands-on experience using Airfocus (or similar Product portfolio management tool) and Jira/Atlassian suite of products (or similar Task and Project management tool)
  • Experience project managing large scale and complex software as a product initiatives
  • Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, consultation and organizational skills
  • A result-oriented, driven, positive attitude, that takes ownership about high quality deliverables
  • Familiar managing teams doing cloud-based development
  • Good interpersonal skills with superior analytical ability
  • Ability to learn, adapt, and handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High energy and a positive outlook with the passion to make things better at every opportunity
