ServiceNow Developer–Senior Consultant – Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX)

As an experienced ServiceNow Developer Senior Consultant you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel. Work you’ll do/Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant, you will work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions.
The ServiceNow Senior Developer will lead the design, development, and implementation of complex solutions on the ServiceNow platform. This role involves mentoring junior developers, ensuring best practices, and driving the strategic direction of ServiceNow implementations.

Qualifications
Required
• 6-10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience
• Completion of course of study/Egresado in Computer Science/IT/Computer Engineering, or any pertinent field or industry, or equivalent years of experience
• Responsible for supporting and leading project workstreams and/or teams
• Identifies key drivers, defines problems and proposes solutions
• Advanced English level
• Proficiency in ServiceNow development and customization.

Preferred
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Code Reviews: Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to standards.
• Training and Development: Develop and deliver training sessions for team members on new features, best practices, and advanced techniques.
• Project Planning: Assist in project planning, including defining scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and manage expectations.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with development and deployment activities.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Experience in ITSM , GRC products.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications, including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog.
• ServiceNow Platform to meet the Identified Business requirements and Functional needs.
• Support ServiceNow Platforms through Monitoring, Troubleshooting, Root-cause analysis and Implementing BugFixes.
• Review user stories to understand requirements and technical architecture documentation for solution.
• Troubleshoot any errors found in the ServiceNow configuration.
• Complete the deployment of solutions across sub-production and production environments.
• Provide training for each tools functionality both in person and through using other methods.
• Document, maintain and update policies, procedures and controls for the operation of the ServiceNow platform.
• Conduct user training and create documentation.
• Develop and maintain workflows, forms, and reports.
• Must be professional, well-spoken and able to interact with internal Teams and customers.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow issues.
• Assist in the development of ServiceNow best practices and standards.
• Perform data analysis and reporting using ServiceNow's reporting tools.
• Must be self-directed and able to manage competing priorities and proactively communicate when conflicts arise.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL v3 / v4
• Design and develop custom applications and integrations on the ServiceNow platform.
• Implement and configure ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, and HRSD.
• Create and maintain ServiceNow scripts, business rules, UI policies, and client scripts.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing and participate in system testing and user acceptance testing.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow applications.
• Stay current with ServiceNow releases and enhancements.
• CSA Certification, Implementation Specialist Certification
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture and data model.
• Experience with web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is preferred.
• Proficiency in ServiceNow development and customization.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
• Lead the design and development of complex ServiceNow solutions and integrations.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends.
