Senior Mainframe Engineer - Híbrido (80 a 100K Nomina) en HIRELINE

Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Mainframe Engineer to join our team . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and maintaining Java applications that are scalable, reliable, and secure.

Requirements:

• Expertise in COBOL/DB2/JCL. Candidates should be able to design, code, test, and debug COBOL-DB2 applications.

• Should be able to write complex SQL queries.

• Familiarity with working in z/OS, TSO/ISPF environment.

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

• 10+ years of software development experience in a professional environment

• Candidates will be expected to come into the office at least 3 days a week in Mexico City.

Desirable:

• Experience to IMS database and VSAM.

• Exposure to online transaction processing like CICS or IMS-DC.

• Exposure to tools like SPUFI, File-aid.

• 5+ years of experience in mainframe application development.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology.

Advanced English:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Advanced: C1)
