We are seeking an experienced Senior   Cloud Platform Engineer to join a global cloud team responsible for delivering and operating scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud platforms.

In this role, you will work within a cloud-first, multi-cloud environment , contributing to the design, operation, and continuous improvement of cloud services, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure , while also developing expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and supporting emerging AI initiatives .

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, operate, and continuously enhance cloud environments to ensure high availability, reliability, and performance
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement and deploy services into enterprise cloud platforms
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across cloud infrastructure, including applications, servers, and containerized environments
  • Support product teams with expertise in cloud services and best practices
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation and self-initiated initiatives
  • Administer and maintain Windows and Linux-based systems , including upgrades and patching
  • Contribute to the evolution of a multi-cloud strategy , building strong capabilities in both Azure and GCP
  • Leverage modern tools and practices to optimize cloud operations and delivery
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with infrastructure and services in public and/or private cloud environments
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (mandatory); exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus
  • Experience with Windows and/or Linux system administration
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and deployment pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Ansible)
  • Practical experience with:
    • Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    • Cloud service models: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
  • Scripting and automation skills using tools such as:
    • PowerShell, Bash, CLI
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, SolarWinds) is an advantage

Language Requirements
  • Fluent English ( C1/C2 required )
  • German is a plus
