Senior Backend Engineer

Location:  On-site | Santa Fe, CDMX

Language Requirement:  Intermediate English

Schedule:  Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the execution of large-scale backend projects.

Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable server-side logic and APIs.

Mentor and guide junior developers to achieve high-quality deliverables.

Collaborate closely with front-end teams to ensure smooth integration of user-facing features.

Design, implement, and maintain efficient database systems to support application performance.

Apply security best practices and ensure robust data protection.

Conduct code reviews, define technical standards, and approve deliverables.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues.

Stay up to date with backend development trends, tools, and best practices.

Tech Stack & Tools

Languages:  Python, C#, Java

Databases:  SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis

Containers & Deployment:  Docker

Requirements

Proven experience in backend development with a strong command of at least two of the listed languages.

Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and maintenance.

Experience mentoring and leading development teams.

Familiarity with containerization and deployment using Docker.

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
