QA Automation EngineeR en The Blue People

We are currently looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join a remote project, working closely with a software development team to ensure product quality through end-to-end and automated testing .

• Design, execute, and maintain automated test cases .
• Perform end-to-end testing across application workflows.
• Collaborate with the development team to define and execute QA test plans .
• Identify gaps in existing test coverage and implement automated tests to address them.
• Perform functional and regression testing before releases.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and follow them through resolution.
• Develop a strong understanding of the application and overall project goals to determine appropriate testing coverage.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA and automation practices.

• What we're looking for

• Professional experience in QA Automation / Test Automation .
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests.
• Experience with E2E and regression testing .
• Experience with automation tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, WebDriverIO, Appium, or similar .
• Experience with at least one programming/scripting language such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, or Java .
• Ability to understand complete application workflows rather than testing isolated functionality.
• Experience designing test cases and identifying testing gaps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced conversational English — required for communication with an international team.

• API testing experience.
• Postman or similar tools.
• Mobile automation testing.
• CI/CD integration for automated tests.
• Performance testing experience.
• Experience working as an SDET or in development-oriented QA environments.

• Compensation: $30,000–$35,000 MXN per month
