Location: Toreo, Mexico City – 100% Onsite (client site)

Level: Senior – Minimum 7 years of experience

The Technical Cybersecurity Lead will be responsible for leading the implementation, support, and supervision of cybersecurity solutions across critical infrastructure and applications. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on expertise, and the ability to coordinate with both technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure compliance, security, and operational excellence.

• Lead the implementation and support of cybersecurity technologies (CyberArk, Netscout, SIEM – Splunk, Zabbix, The Hive).

• Ensure compliance with best practices such as Zero Trust, segmentation, encryption, and system hardening.

• Coordinate with networking, cloud, and systems teams to align cybersecurity measures.

• Oversee authentication systems (MFA, SSO, IAM).

• Assess technical risks, prioritize actions, and align client requirements with operations.

• Manage maintenance of servers and hardware (HPE, Cisco), applying patches and upgrades.

• Handle escalations, perform incident analysis, and provide expert technical support.

• Document technical procedures, maintenance plans, and system diagrams.

• Lead and mentor the technical team under your supervision.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, PCI DSS , and other security standards.

• Oversee project lifecycle and support contracts.

• Represent the technical team in client and management meetings.

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Engineering degree in Systems, Computer Science, or Cybersecurity (Master’s is a plus).

• Preferred universities: UNAM, IPN, or other recognized institutions.

Languages:

• Advanced English (minimum B2 / 70%).

Certifications (desirable):

• PCI DSS, ISO 27001, or other relevant cybersecurity certifications.

Experience:

• 7+ years in technical and leadership roles within cybersecurity.

• Proven track record in managing implementations of cybersecurity tools.

• Risk evaluation, incident resolution, and technical documentation.

• Strong expertise with SIEM platforms, MFA, SSO, networking, and servers.

• Hands-on experience with CyberArk, Splunk, Zabbix, The Hive, and similar technologies.

• Ability to communicate technical concepts in business terms.
