Lead Software Developer - Python líder

The Lead Software Developer will be a member of the Digital Americas organization. Digital Americas is a multi-disciplinary technical team comprised of data scientists, software developers and operations research experts. The team serves Linde’s business units and is tasked with creating analytics and decision support software solutions for complex problems.

Principal responsibilities

• Collaborate with business partners to understand product requirements and define appropriate technical solutions.
• Lead full stack development of cutting-edge analytics and decision support tools.
• Stay abreast of new technology and actively contribute ideas for new programs.
• Balance development of new solutions with replication and support of existing tools.

Required critical behaviours

• Proficient in English.
• BS in Computer Science or related degree.
• 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience designing and architecting modern web applications from the ground up.
• Experience designing relational databases and strong query writing skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to succinctly convey complex solutions to business stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, time constrained environment.
• Availability to travel up to 20%, domestic and international.

Required key skills

M (Mandatory) P (Preferred)

• Full stack developer with extensive expertise in web frameworks, preferably Vue.js M
• Python-based backend development experience, preferably with FastAPI M
• ETL pipelines with Python, Luigi M
• Docker & Linux environments M
• Years of Experience: 5+ in related positions M
• Experience deploying solutions to cloud providers, preferably Azure M
• Experience with Docker and Linux environments M
• Experience creating ETL pipelines with Python, Luigi M
