IT - Senior Systems Administrator
Position Overview
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for supporting and modernizing hybrid infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments. This role provides technical leadership for server, virtualization, backup, identity, and data center technologies while supporting manufacturing operations globally. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Azure, Active Directory/Entra ID, enterprise infrastructure, and manufacturing environments, with the ability to independently solve complex technical challenges and drive infrastructure improvements.

Required Qualifications
- Hybrid Infrastructure (Azure + On-Prem)
- Active Directory
- Advanced Microsoft Azure, Entra ID (Azure AD), Identity & Access Management experience in multi-regional environments.
- Windows Server Administration
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments
- VMware ESXi administration
- Nutanix AHV (Acropolis) experience
- Exchange Online administration
- Veeam and/or Rubrik backup solutions
- Infrastructure documentation and Visio diagrams
- Data Center and rack infrastructure experience
- Experience managing physical data center infrastructure including racks, UPS, cooling systems, power distribution, and documentation
- Experience supporting IT infrastructure in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environment

Key Responsibilities
- Design, administer, and support computing environments including hardware, software, applications, and configurations
- Monitor server, hardware, and software performance and resolve issues proactively
- Support deployment of new applications and infrastructure solutions
- Design and maintain backup strategies and disaster recovery solutions
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
- Serve as escalation point for Infrastructure, Help Desk, and Application teams
- Lead infrastructure projects including planning, implementation, and upgrades
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and procurement activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation and communications
- Participate in Change Management processes and CAB meetings
- Ensure compliance with operational and security standards
- Administer Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Manage Exchange Online, permissions, identity, and access management
- Support manufacturing plant infrastructure and collaborate with OT teams
- Create and maintain infrastructure, rack, and architecture documentation using Visio
- Manage enterprise backup platforms including Veeam and Rubrik
- Support server rooms, racks, PDUs, UPS systems, cooling systems, and physical infrastructure.
