The Role

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our growing Engineering group in AspenTech, leading and building the next generation solution for production execution, serving our various Fortune 500 customers in the engineering and chemical industries. You’ll join and lead a team of skilled, talented, and passionate people, always bringing the industry best practices to our products. Your Impact

• Design, develop, maintain, and support new and existing engineering software applications.
• Actively contribute to technical and functional design sessions.
• Participating in the maintenance and enhancement of the existing code base.
• Provide technical support to customers and business support on customer activities.
• Adhere to standard processes for agile development, new feature implementation, defect processing, source code control and unit testing
• Keep current with new and developing technologies as they appear i industry and assist in determining the feasibility of adopting new technologies.

What You'll Need

• Degree in Computer Science or Engineering-related field.
• 2-3 years of experience working in Windows applications development or testing.
• Expertise with C#/.NET and WPF development required focused in object oriented programming (leans more towards WPF).
• Familiar with C and/or C++ development is a plus
• Familiar with development of statical packages and deployment on github is a plus
• Familiarity working in Agile Development Methodology and Principles is a plus
• Strong problem-solving ability
• English fluency (written and verbal) required
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and writing/presentation skills
• Experience working with US companies is a plus
• Quick learner and embraces change

Hybrid role: 2 days per week remote and 3 days on-site (Reforma, Juarez, CDMX)
