The Cybersecurity Analyst is responsible for providing consultation on various cybersecurity requirements for applications, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. The role involves evaluating security vulnerabilities, assessing risk, and implementing solutions to defend against threats to enterprise assets. The successful candidate will collaborate with other cyber services to provide best-in-class consultation and support to enterprise customers, ensuring a robust cybersecurity posture for applications and services hosted on-premises, private cloud, or SaaS.
What you’ll do:
- Provide policy and risk-based consultation to enterprise customers ensuring a robust cybersecurity posture for applications and services hosted on-premises, private cloud, or SaaS.
- Evaluate security vulnerabilities, assess risk, and implement solutions to defend against threats to enterprise assets.
- Perform control assessments for critical enterprise assets and SaaS solutions to ensure data is adequately secured.
- Collaborate with other cyber services to provide best-in-class consultation and support to enterprise customers.
- Report cybersecurity metrics by tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Stablish robust engagement and communication channels to provide timely and quality response.
What you’ll need
- English proficiency (written and verbal).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineer, Security Engineer or related field of study.
- A strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and combustion.
- 2+ years of experience in any of the following technical disciplines: software development and coding, application security, DevSecOps methodologies, identity and access management, cloud security, security operations, and incident response.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards (NIST CSF, ISO27001/2, OWASP, etc.), Threat Modeling, and IT Risk Assessment.
- Knowledge of best practices for IAM flows and grant types, OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML standards.
- Experience with API security best practices to protect sensitive data and services.
Even better if you have:
- Experience or familiarity with application development and/or infrastructure management.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps, agile principles, and security policies.
- Familiarity with common security flaws and ways to address them (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
- Knowledge of crypto algorithms and functions to build secure solutions.
- Experience or knowledge of GitHub, Linux, Shell, Bash.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, languages, frameworks, platforms, etc.
