As an ENDpoint Analyst, the primary responsibilities encompass a range of tasks aimed at optimizing system management and user productivity. This role involves managing and administering Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager to support various functions such as patching, automated software deployment, imaging, inventory, and reporting. Additionally, the analyst is responsible for identifying and implementing solutions that automate or eliminate 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support tasks, thereby empowering end users to be more productive.
Another key aspect of the role is creating and modifying Group Policy Objects to support workstations and users. The ENDpoint Analyst also provides 3rd level support to other technicians and users, ensuring that complex issues are resolved efficiently. Furthermore, the analyst is tasked with training 1st and 2nd level support staff on the use of tools, processes, and established standards, thereby enhancing the overall support framework and ensuring consistency in service delivery.
The KGS Endpoint Architecture Services team creates value for its Koch customers through innovative and reliable solutions in the endpoint computing space. Outcomes produced include endpoint security (Mobile, AV, and encryption), endpoint lifecycle management (software packaging and distribution, security updates, workstation build), endpoint standards through the creation and use of software and hardware roadmaps, Group Policy Object management, and mobile device management which includes industrial mobility as well as consumer mobility.
- What You Will Do
- Working across multiple business units with other technicians, end users, and decision makers
- Provide 3rd level support to Technicians
- Set, maintain and document standards
- Train 1st and 2nd level support staff on use of tools, processes and established standards
- Ensure all changes go through the approved change management process
- Managing customer requests and incidents
- Heavy collaboration with others to achieve a desired outcome
- Being part of team that is relied upon to keep the business endpoint up and running which includes being a part of response teams when critical production issue arise
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Knowledge or experience with at least 5 of the below 10
- Enterprise client management configuration tools
- Knowledge and experience in Mobile Device Management
- Knowledge of Intune and Azure AD
- Advanced knowledge of the Windows Operating System
- Providing support in a multi-forest/multi-domain Active Directory environment
- PowerShell or other scripting languages
- Knowledge of AD Group Policy
- Associate degree in Computer Science/related field or equivalent experience
