Job description

As a Data Engineer, you will work with multiple teams to deliver solutions on the Azure Cloud using core cloud data warehouse tools (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks, Azure SQL DW and Data Lake related technologies). In addition to building the next generation of application data platforms/infrastructure and/or improving recent implementations. Must be able to analyze data and develop strategies for populating data lakes. This person may be called upon to do coding using Python and T-SQL.


• Work as part of a team to develop Cloud Data and Analytics solutions

• Participate in development of cloud data warehouses and business intelligence solutions

Design and implement well optimized data ingestion data flows from multiple sources using Azure Data Bricks and/or Data Factory

• Data wrangling of heterogeneous data

• Ability to provide solutions that are forward-thinking in data and analytics

• Coding in Spark (Python). T-SQL is a plus

• Developing Modern Data Warehouse solutions using Azure Stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks)


• Expertise to Implementing Data warehousing Solutions

• Theoretical or Practical Experience as Data Engineer in an Azure Cloud Environment

• Programming experience in Scala or Python is a plus. Programing in T-SQL or SQL required.

• Hands-on experience in Azure stack (Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Bricks)

• Exposure to other Azure services like Azure Data Lake Analytics & Azure SQL DW is a plus

• understanding of Azure Data Bricks and Azure Data Factory platforms and can build data analytics solutions to support the required performance & scale is desired

• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good Understanding of Modern Data Warehouse concepts

• Code versioning tool such as Git in context of DevOps

Ability to work in an agile environment.
