We are seeking a Multi-Cloud Governance Engineer to join our team, supporting multi cloud governance initiatives that include financial, engineering, and security related concerns. This role involves standardizing the usage multi cloud footprint through the use of policy as code, standards and the development or use of tooling in creative and innovative ways to ensure that expansion into multiple clouds is efficient, secure and resilient while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop tooling that improves stakeholder’s access and visibility to core metrics around efficiency and governance.
- Develop and maintain APIs and automation services for governance and cost optimization.
- Develop and design data models and schema for data lakes, warehouses and transactional databases.
- Navigating unknowns and problem solving through the use of documentation, and available online resources to quickly establish baselines of understanding
- Analyze cloud resource metadata and datasets for cost allocation and optimization.
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable user stories.
- Collaborate proactively within the team, participate in peer reviews, and contribute to a culture of accountability and quality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Familiar with AWS and experience building serverless systems.
- Strong experience in software engineering and fullstack development.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and strong understanding of Python scripting.
- Native English proficiency for clear communication with stakeholders.
- Strong ability to lead technical conversations and present findings.
- Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership and responsibility.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders (e.g., security, finance, product teams).
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and coaching others through it.
- Proven, strong leader who has lead full stack development projects from a planning to implementation standpoint
Preferred Skills:

Background in data architecture and developing re-usable patterns for the contribution to and consumption of large and varied datasets.

Product development skills, with the ability to break down large tasks into iterative implementation steps with clear acceptance criteria

Track record of mentorship and leading without authority
