Azure Cloud Engineer

 

Provide Azure engineering support to operations and foundational teams. Implement enterprise level Azure solutions. Align solutions to platform, data, cloud and reference architecture patterns and capabilities. Ensure appropriate implementation of technology following all standards and best practices set forth by governing bodies

Drive execution for large business initiatives including documentation, roadmaps, communication, and alignment of domain architecture into business, product and technical plan. Review environment regularly for efficiency and cost optimization.

Drive the modernization of infrastructure services within Azure Cloud. Deliver by engineering Azure-cloud based infrastructure solutions leveraging automation and modern deployment methodologies.

Key Focus and Objective for Role:

  • Collaborate with Azure engineering teams to not only support but deliver solutions and new capabilities for our customers most mission critical Azure deployments
  • Enterprise-level support for Azure cloud-based solutions. Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to provide architectural and technical guidance
  • Serve as a top tier escalation point, provide guidance and direction for resolution of escalated issues
  • Liaise between customers and cross functional teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions
  • Develop, document, and enforce the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure integrity of Active Directory, and related systems
  • Own and lead discussions in customer facing information technology solution implementations, upgrades, enhancement and conversions. Recommends solutions as appropriate
  • Responds daily to customer queries for information, instructions, updates and requests in a timely manner
  • Makes recommendations to solutions team for automation and cost savings opportunities
  • Work directly with WCMS teams for management of the environment.
  • Ensure solution and operations reliability for Internet websites
  • Collaborate with the team and process requests to support our Build & deployments, Content Refresh etc.

 

 

Job Requirements

 

Methodical Competence:

  • Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, and time management skills required as needed for US based customers
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization including internal and customer facing senior leadership and executive level.
  • Excellent English written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet key deadlines, solid analytical, problem solving, and consultative skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Demonstrate industry leading experience on identifying and implementing industry best practices.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Highly motivated and results oriented
  • Experience with Web Content Management Systems (Sitecore preferred)
