Our Team

The team supporting an AWS Support Engineer in Data Engineering is a cloud-focused operations and analytics group responsible for maintaining the reliability, performance, and efficiency of AWS-based data pipelines and platforms. What You Will Do

Monitor & Support: Provide daily support for AWS-based data pipelines (Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Redshift), ensuring uptime and data accuracy.

Incident Resolution: Act as L1/L2/L3 support for issues related to ETL failures, data discrepancies, or performance bottlenecks.

Root Cause Analysis: Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, document RCA, and proactively work on solutions to prevent recurrence.
Job Scheduling & Automation: Support and enhance automation using CloudWatch Events, Lambda, and Step Functions to reduce manual interventions.

Enhancement Requests: Coordinate with development teams for enhancements and minor fixes in ETL scripts and workflows.

System Efficiency: Support initiatives that improve system efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance data quality.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

3–5 years of hands-on experience in AWS Data Services support.

Experience supporting ETL solutions using: AWS Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Step Functions, EventBridge, CloudWatch.

Strong proficiency in: SQL, Python, PySpark, S3.

Experience with data quality monitoring, job failure resolution, and incident management systems (e.g., ServiceNow or Jira).

Ability to debug and resolve ETL and data pipeline failures in a production environment.

What Will Put You Ahead

Exposure to MSBI Stack: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS.

AWS or Cloud Data Engineering certification.

Experience with data modeling and performance tuning.
