Are you an experience, passionate pioneer in technology? As a Workstation Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel.

- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in managing VDI solutions.
- Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V).
- Proficiency in desktop operating systems.
- Experience with scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell).
- Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to providing high-quality support.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional)
- Experience with cloud-based VDI solutions.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage VDI solutions using platforms such as VMware Horizon and Microsoft W365
- Focus on provisioning virtual desktops, ensuring efficient and automated deployment processes.
- Implement and manage user profiles, policies, and permissions within the VDI environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to VDI infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices within the VDI environment.
- Develop and maintain documentation for VDI configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaborate with IT teams, including network, security, and support, to ensure cohesive VDI operations.
- Communicate technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in project planning and execution, contributing to the successful implementation of VDI-related projects.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to VDI and recommend improvements.
