Job Description

• Develop and maintain backend service and application software using C++.
• Design and implement new features and capabilities.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and fix issues in the current software.
• Collaborate with other developers, architects, and stakeholders to design and implement best -in-class software.
• Design and implement reliable, performant, and fault tolerant code based on requirements and/or user stories.
• Ensure reliable code by developing unit tests and test automation tools.
• Assist in code and design reviews.
• Investigate, isolate, and identify solutions to reported software malfunctions.
• Train and mentor other team members in your area of expertise.
• Take part in agile team ceremonies such as scrum, sprint planning, and retrospective.

Additional Job Description

• Bachelor’s degree from an in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience with C++.
• Fluent English level.
• A general knowledge of platform independent tools and libraries.
• Solid understanding of algorithms and complex data structures.
• Experience with APIs and daemon processes.
• Experience with Windows and Linux.
• A strong desire to have your work have a positive impact on the industry and the world and help facilitate the energy transition.
• A passion for learning and working on challenging problems. 
• Hybrid role: 2 days per week remote and 3 days on-site (Reforma, Juarez, CDMX)
