We’re looking for an exceptional TypeScript Engineer who is excited to work as part of a fully remote team to help expand the Component library, and in doing so, magnify the power and capabilities of the platform.
You will:· Use our Component TypeScript SDK to wrap third-party APIs and SDKs such that they can then be used within the platform
· Write code that adheres to industry best practices with respect to performance, testability, maintainability, and security
· Propose and implement improvements that expand the capabilities of the TypeScript SDK
· Learn and master numerous third-party APIs and SDKs by studying their developer documentation and experimenting with developer sandboxes
· Collaborate with the Component Library Product Owner to ensure that specifications are implemented correctly
· Assist with writing technical documentation that will assist end users in using the Components correctly and effectively
· Routinely provide sound feedback in code reviews, design reviews, security reviews, etc.
· Coach and mentor less experienced teammates
· Be part of a highly collaborative, fully remote team that ships new code into production every day
You might be a good fit if you:· Have 2+ years of professional TypeScript experience
· Have experience working with the Jest unit testing library
· Are proficient at writing technical documentation
· Have a positive attitude, an aptitude for learning, and generally look for solutions instead of focusing only on problems
· Are located within 2 time zones of the US Central Time Zone
· Are comfortable and effective working as part of a fully remote team
· Can pass a background check
Extra points:· Have experience using OAuth2 authentication and can talk in some detail about the different flows
· Can speak passionately about what software and hardware tools you prefer to use
· Have a GitHub or similar that you’re proud to show off
