Are you a passionate software engineer? Join our Product Engineering team as a Software Engineer . The ideal candidate will have experience in building, maintaining, and supporting applications. The successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams and across business units. They must also have demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively.
About the role:
In this opportunity as a Software Engineer , you will be responsible to:
- Delivers technical solutions for a product and/or participate in complex projects.
- Write code according to established coding specifications for software development.
- Ability to understand low-complexity business requirements, edge cases and ask clarifying questions to be translated to code.
- Prepare the code/solution to be deployed.
- Writes new software and makes changes to existing code or integrations based on agreed-upon specifications.
- Delivers end-to-end technical solutions for multiple products or complex projects.
- Participate in code reviews for learning purposes.
- Need for moderate guidance and review in carrying out activities.
- Actively participates in agile ceremonies, meetings, interacts with other tech-teams and provides status of the assigned workload.
- Ability to understand, identify and solve bugs/incidents in existing code based on the existing standards and good practices.
- Ability to maintain and/or create documentation for the new developments/systems.
- Addresses concerns and with limited support
- Knows when scalation is needed.
- Identifies the opportunities to improve/enhance business and technology processes.
- Shares information clearly and articulates to all audiences.
- Learns and adapts themselves and bounce back from setbacks.
- Work both independently, and as part of a development team, on various projects of varying size and scope concurrently.
- Solves complex problems with minimal guidance.
- Delivers software features with exceptional quality, meeting designated release plans and delivery commitments
- Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, work processes, investigating problem areas and following the software development lifecycle.
- Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to stakeholders
About You
You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software development and engineering.
- Strong understanding of agile software development lifecycle and methodologies.
- Programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Angular, React, CSS or similar technologies.
- Experience with software development tools, frameworks and best practices.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other teams.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies.
- English language proficiency
