Do you thrive in a collaborative, innovative environment? Omron Robotics and Safety Technologies (ORT) is looking for a  Senior Software Engineer  to help shape the future of  Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs)  in the industrial automation space!

As part of our  Mobile Robotics Team , you’ll work in our  brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Pleasanton, CA , developing innovative solutions for our growing portfolio of AMRs.

From  specifying and designing new features  to  troubleshooting field-reported issues  and  mentoring junior engineers , you’ll play a key role in advancing our next-generation robotics technology.

What we’re looking for:

• 7+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong C++ programming skills and software fundamentals
• Experience with multi-threaded applications and debugging complex systems
• Knowledge of Linux, API design, and communication protocols like MQTT or ROS
• Passion for robotics, path planning, SLAM, and 2D/3D sensors
