Senior Software Development Engineers are skilled professionals specialized in the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of software solutions. They possess comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the field of software development. These engineers engage with both internal and external teams, providing training on products, managing projects independently, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to oversee project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. In this role, you will offer mentorship and guidance, reviewing the work of less experienced software engineers and fostering an environment of technical growth and development.

The Digital Technology team seeks to recruit a proficient Senior Engineer with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) expertise to join a well-established global digital team that prioritizes customer service and support. This role calls for a candidate who is an avid learner, an autonomous thinker, thrives in a collaborative environment across various disciplines, and is adept at working with diverse individuals and technology stacks. You have the opportunity to make a significant and immediate impact by revolutionizing our digital customer interactions as we pave the way for the next generation of a unified enterprise experience. Your contributions in the areas of Design, Development, Deployment, and Maintenance of AEM applications will be vital to delivering digital solutions to our customers worldwide and teams throughout the digital organization.

About You:

You are a suitable candidate for the role of Digital Technology Senior Software Engineer - Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) if you have:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing and leading development projects with Adobe Experience Manager, including recent work with AEM 6.5 or later.
  • Solid understanding of AEM architecture and infrastructure for both AEM Sites and AEM Assets.
  • Proficiency in leveraging modern AEM tools for content and experience exchange, including Content Fragment Models, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments.
  • Strong foundational knowledge in AEM and web content management design and development, including AEM Sites, AEM Assets, Web Components in HTL, Editable Templates, Sling Models, Workflows, Backend Java OSGI Services, JCR, and JCX.
  • Experience with various front-end web technologies, including HTML/5, CSS, JavaScript, and Responsive Web design.
  • Familiarity with developing on AEM using the principles of the ReactJS Framework and the AEM SPA Editor.
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Analysis, Design, and Implementation, including SOA, Web services, XML/HTTP, REST, HTML, Servlets, and APIs.
  • Proficiency in Apache Sling,

Preferred qualifications:  

  • Experience in working with Adobe Cloud Manager, XML DITA add-on (AEM Guides), Adobe Managed Services and Cloud (AWS)  
  • Experience building Customer service and support portals like Help center, Training etc.
  • Adobe certifications
