The Commercial Engineering Organization at Thomson Reuters is seeking a proficient Engineering Manager to join our well-established global engineering team. About the Role:

As an Engineering Manager with a focus on Salesforce Conga CPQ, you will:

  • Drive the engineering approach, planning, design, and execution of Conga CPQ, Turbo Price, Digital Commerce, and Zilliant Pricing solutions.

  • Offer counsel on best practices, technical benchmarks, and quality control, including oversight of code reviews.

  • Lead technical research, prototyping, and experimentation to recommend technological tools and solutions.

  • Tackle technical challenges and provide solutions as necessary.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, technical leads, architects, and external parties to deliver integrated solutions.

  • Impart technical knowledge, coach, and inspire team members.

  • Promote a culture of ongoing enhancement, learning, innovation, and implementation.

  • Develop estimates for solution creation and technical planning, pinpointing dependencies and potential issues.

  • Work closely with engineers and product teams to unify configuration and transition towards a universal platform.

  • Guarantee code quality and adherence to timelines.

  • Oversee solution design, estimations, technical sequencing, and code assessments.

  • Stay abreast of imminent Salesforce and Conga updates.

About You:

  • You have 8+ years in a technical leadership role, focusing on designing, developing, and integrating Conga and/or Zilliant within Salesforce.

  • You possess extensive knowledge of Conga product configuration, pricing management, and approval workflows, including price dimensions and rulesets. Salesforce integration experience is a plus.

  • You have a robust understanding of product modeling, pricing, quoting, contract lifecycle management, and data migration, including CPQ approvals and discounts.

  • You are experienced with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and integration tools (Dell Boomi, Apigee, Informatica preferred).

  • You are well-versed in technical and quality benchmarks, best practices, and guidelines.

  • You are proficient in Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.

  • You know Product Trials and Integration, subscriptions, and Commerce, though this is beneficial, not mandatory.
