Senior DevOps Engineer

Thomson Reuters is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is responsible for building and supporting ONESOURCE Global Trade Management. This engineer continually seeks to optimize systems and services for security, automation, performance, and availability while ensuring solutions that are developed adhere to and align to architectural standards. This individual is responsible for ensuring that technology systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as Senior DevOps Engineer , you will:
- Develop and Deliver: Apply modern DevOps Engineering practices; you will be involved in the entire Development, Operational support, Monitoring, Automation, Building, Testing and Delivering high-quality solutions for the DevOps team
- Be a Team Player: Working in a collaborative team-oriented environment, you will share information, value diverse ideas, partner with cross-functional and remote teams

About You:
You’re a fit for the role of DevOps Engineer if you:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with extensive hands-on experience working with AWS Cloud services.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps and ADO concepts: ADO Pipelines,ADO Agents, ADO Repos
- Experience in creation and maintenance of ADO pipelines
- Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and AWS Code Pipelines.
- Demonstrated proficiency in automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native application development and deployment.
- Experience with SQL and Windows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement automation opportunities, improving overall efficiency and reliability.
- Proactively monitor all services using DataDog APM, RUM, etc., to ensure their availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency.
- Build and deploy .NET, .NET Core, and Java-based solutions on AWS, leveraging containerization technologies like AWS ECS on Fargate.
- Experience with containerization technologies and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
- Experience r esolving and troubleshooting production issues for Onprem and AWS environnments.
- Continuously monitor and optimize AWS services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, security, and compliance with best practices.
- Knowledge in Octopus deploys is a plus
