Senior Content Marketer

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Content Marketer are to assist in content creation that supports the production and quality goals of the Spanish Content Marketing team through coaching, mentorship, administrative activities, and product/process initiatives, as well as formal writing and editing.

About the Role

In this opportunity as a Senior Content Marketer , you will:

  • Be familiar with the writing, fulfillment and processes for blogs, promotions, social videos, website content and PPC landing pages in English and Spanish.
  • Consult with team members and manage ongoing expectations.
  • Use analytic tools to assess content performance.
  • Work on cross-functional special projects, including process improvements, business systems, writing standards, techniques and quality, and escalations, with limited supervision while meeting project deadlines and driving efficiency.
  • Serve as trainer and mentor for the Spanish content team, with a focus on content writing in English and Spanish.
  • Train new and existing employees on content best practices, products, and processes in both English and Spanish.

Production

  • Drive timely delivery of content.
  • Assist with workload balancing across the Spanish content team.
  • Assist with escalated client situations and consult with customers as needed.
  • Review writers’ work and provide feedback on content quality.

Leadership

  • Work to ensure the quality and performance of content written by the team.
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of FindLaw business systems, including software used to ensure efficient delivery and tracking of incoming and completed content.
  • Coordinate onboarding and training of new Spanish team members. Create and maintain process and training documentation.
  • Provide feedback to team members in a clear, honest, and specific manner.

About You

You're a fit for the role if your background includes most of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (English, Communications, Journalism, or related degree)
  • Working knowledge of the legal market and an understanding of general marketing tactics, search engine optimization (SEO), social media, and legal topics and areas of practice.
  • Strong background writing in both English and Spanish.
  • Two-plus years of professional content writing (preferably for online media) experience in marketing, communications, social content, or similar field.
  • Training, coaching/mentoring experience preferred.
  • Experience managing client expectations preferred.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally in pursuit of shared business goals.
  • Strong knowledge of AP style.
  • Accomplished online research skills.
  • Strong understanding of legal concepts and terminology.
  • Strong understanding of social media tools and practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously (time management and organization).
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and to change directions efficiently when required.
  • Proven ability to mentor others and lead projects in a creative, high-volume production environment.
  • Capacity to thrive in a team environment and demonstrate excellent relationship-building and consulting skills (e.g. interviewing, research, generating ideas, etc.).
  • Proven ability to handle complicated client issues and to maintain a focus on solutions in escalated situations.
  • Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to build internal and external relationships through influence and collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively provide appropriate reporting to Manager.
