Summary:
The IS Technical Lead plays a critical role in the technology product team and closely coordinates delivery efforts with the SCRUM Master and regional product owner. The IS Technical Lead is also responsible for developing a sound knowledge for researching, planning, coordinating, and recommending business, cost, strategy, software, and system choices to meet an organization's business requirements. The IS Technical Lead understands problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.
Job Duties:
- The IS Technical Lead is an internal consultancy role responsible for investigating processes, technology, cost, and strategy while identifying options for improving and bridging the needs of the business with the use of Information Systems and Technology.
- An IS Technical Lead is responsible for analyzing and documenting the Information Systems needs of clients to help identify problems and propose solutions.
- The IS Technical Lead role is to liaise with the internal business departments and the providers of services to the enterprise, as well as potentially guide/manage other Technical Leads in this capacity.
- The IS Technical Lead will manage incidents as they occur by working with multiple third-party vendors to ensure maintenance and support is carried out effectively among all parties.
- The IS Technical Lead must understand, interpret, and suggest resolution to technical systematic issues and communicate these issues effectively to management and peers.
- The IS Technical Lead will create and maintain the product backlog
- The IS Technical Lead will partner with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to ensure the project stays on track and delivers value to customers
- The scope of analysis and delivery includes all business functions within a specific business domain.
- As necessary, perform any other relevant duties across different functional areas across regionally and globally to aid in the success of the organization.
Skills and Experience:
- 5 to 7 years of experience overall with at least 5 years in application development experience and working with third party vendors.
- Advanced english level
- Bachelor degree in IT field or related
- Project Management tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar.
- Hands-on experience in Agile projects is mandatory
- Familiar with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for all business initiatives and projects.
- Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Access)
- Cloud/SaaS technologies (preferably AWS experience)
- Prepare detailed Business Process flows , Business process mapping, requirement sessions with business team, create user stories, define functional and non-functional acceptance criteria and detailed use cases for system and user acceptance testing.
