SAP PP –Consultant – Americas Delivery Mexico (ADMX)

Work you’ll do/Responsibilities   

As a Consultant at Deloitte, you will work within an engagement team and be responsible for supporting the overall project goals and objectives. In this role, you will interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams. It is expected that you will be able to perform independent tasks as well as provide technical guidance to team members, as needed. 

You will be responsible for successful delivery of SAP PP technology/process deliverables. You will be expected to have hands-on experience and knowledge of procurement processes/operations as well as technology design, building, test and deployment efforts for various tools/technologies. You will be involved in improving operational metrics, business cases development and performance measurement. You will have an opportunity to enhance your technical knowledge and manage client relationships within the context of your individual role, for the full lifecycle of the engagements. 

• Gathering the business requirements from the client. 

• Performing the fit-gap analysis and identifying the custom developments required to meet the client requirements. 

• Configuring the system and writing functional specifications. 

• Involvement in all the testing phases including unit test, regression test, user acceptance test. 

• Regular interaction with the client for day-to-day activities. 

• Active participation in the cutover, go-live and hyper-care activities.

Qualifications  

Required  

• 3-5+ years of consulting and/or industry experience 

• Completion of coursework ( Egresado ) in any pertinent field or industry  

• Responsible for supporting and independently completing project tasks 

• Advanced English level   

Preferred  

• SAP Production Planning and Manufacturing advanced process knowledge in at least for one manufacturing scenario (Discrete, Process or Repetitive manufacturing). Considering: Master data, MRP, Requirement, Production Orders and Capacity Planning, Factory Calendar, Costing integration. 

• Hands-on experience on customizing configuration for SAP Production Planning functionalities for at least 2 manufacturing scenarios. 

• Process experience on SAP General Logistic functionalities such as Material Management, Batch Management, Handling Units, Variant configuration. 

• Experience in at least 3 implementations of SAP Production Planning solution at least on configurations and testing phases. Desirable to have gathering and deployment experience. 

• In case of not having implementation experience, proven experience in at least 3 years on a support project (ex. AMS) by monitoring tickets such as incidents, tasks, problems and/or enhancement. 

• Able to navigate the system and solve issues related to IDocs, outputs Standard tables. 

• Experience in creating Functional Specifications for Reporting, Programs, or Interfaces. 

• Experience in S/4 HANA Public or Private Edition project, at least in migration. 

• Proven experience in SAP Production Planning for ECC or S/4 HANA. 

• Experience in SAP standard procurement process. 

• Preferably with knowledge of SAP Batch Management. 

• Preferably with knowledge of Classification system. 

• Preferably with knowledge of SAP Handling Units. 

• Preferably with knowledge of Variant configurations. 

• Preferably with knowledge of Costing Integration.
