This position is part of a global and multi-cultural DevOps Team supporting and developing global Finance Business critical SAP BW applications.

Develop, build, configure, customize, integrate and unit test solutions based on the user requirements to meet quality, compliance and performance requirements on SAP BW on/for HANA platforms. Support a set of global Financial SAP BW applications.

• Capability to identify areas for improvement and recommend steps to implement those improvements.
• Develop, build, configure and unit test solutions from user requirements or low-level designs.
• Ensure that solutions meet requirements outlined in the design documentation.
• Perform all work to agreed time, cost and quality constraints.
• Ensure that developed solutions are peer reviewed and formally documented.
• Unit test solutions to ensure they meet quality standards, best practices and compliance standards (SOX).
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver assigned requirements.
• Provide production support & escalation management.
• Work with teams across the organization as needed to troubleshoot BW application issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and technical writing and documentation experience.
• Capability to work independently with minimum supervision and guidance.

Skills For Success

Key Requirements/Minimum Requirements

Education:

• Min Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Technology or related IT field
• Preferred Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Technology or related IT field

Experience

• Experience: 3 -5 years of applicable experience
• Experience with supporting, enhancing and developing SAP BW applications
• Basic experience on ABAP for BW (start routine, expert routine, etc)
• Proven technical experience and expertise in SAP BW 7.5. Experience in BW4HANA / DWC / SAC all of these is a plus.
• Experience in supporting production systems in a matrix organization managing multiple priorities.
• Experience with Agile methodology, knowledge or hands-on experience with DevOps tools is a plus.

Language

• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
