About the Role   

In this opportunity as a Product Engineer, Intern - Part Time​ , you will:

• Assist with application support and troubleshooting activities; identifying bugs and helping with fixes.
• Develop software with guidance from a lead or other team member.
• Develop in Java, Javascript/Angular, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle and related technologies.
• Contributing towards design reviews, code reviews and test case reviews.
• Collaborating with other developers and internal Thomson Reuters staff to define requirements, build prototypes, and implement features.

About You

You’re a fit for the role if your background includes:

• In your last year of studies for your Bachelor's Degree or freshly graduated with a Computer Science or related degree.
• Knowledge in Java and Web-based applications.
• Demonstrate understanding of the software development lifecycle, testing principles, and development methodologies.
• Demonstrate curiosity and an excellent capacity for learning.
• Demonstrated problem solving and issue resolution skills.
• Demonstrate ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing; asks questions and checks for understanding.
• Strong English skills.
• Team player who loves to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
