Requirements

• Proven experience as a Design Manager or senior Product Designer, leading and mentoring design teams.
• Deep understanding of design principles, processes, tools, and methodologies (e.g., user research, prototyping, usability testing).
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Expertise in inclusive, accessible, and user-centric design practices.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, and prototyping software.
• Analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven design decisions.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in product design, with 3+ years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product designers and oversee the design process for one or more products across the entire product lifecycle.
• Partner with cross-functional teams like product management and engineering to align on the user experience vision and ensure a cohesive design across the product portfolio.
• Manage and mentor the design team, providing guidance, feedback, and support for their professional development.
• Establish and uphold design standards, best practices, processes, and guidelines to ensure high-quality, user-centric, and accessible designs.
• Conduct user research, gather insights, and advocate for user needs throughout the design process.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on design objectives and priorities.
• Evaluate design feasibility, optimize designs, and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
