MMC is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Mexico DF office and be onsite 3 days a week.:


Oracle EBS technical Senior developer


What can you expect?

  • In this role, you will work on software development and support for the company's business solutions within a defined Software Development Lifecycle
  • Supports and assist other developers in developing codes, tests and debugs of software programs and enhancements to meet project plan goals.


We will count on you to:

  • Translate Business Requirements into application code.Document the application specifications.
  • Perform code reviews and align the solutions to architectural specifications.
  • Work with Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and other cross-functional resources to define and deliver business-impacting projects.
  • Collaborate with development team members to ensure proper implementation and integration of the solutions.
  • Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues outside of work hours and participate in an on-call rotation as needed.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.
  • Development and deployment of integrated solutions to enhance, consolidate, and coordinate independently designed applications enterprise-wide; assist in scheduling and coordinating project deliverables.
  • Determine how existing applications, legacy systems, third-party applications, databases, web/mobile interfaces, and hardware, possibly running on multiple platforms, integrate to meet new and emerging enterprise requirements.
  • Develop efficient methods to reuse existing components.
  • Strong experience in program design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation under general supervision.
  • Applies thorough technical knowledge and understanding of business applications required to facilitate the development of supporting knowledge architecture and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements.
  • Strong team skills to gain credibility with business users, stakeholders, and must possess the ability to work with other IT team members to ensure solid cross-functional decisions are made by the team.
  • Provides support in configuration, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle.
  • Prepare Oracle Functional, Technical Design documents and Unit test documents for the related areas.

What you need to have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT as a software developer
  • Ability to speak Spanish and English fluently.
  • Knowledge in Oracle Application Financial Modules - Payables, Receivables, General Ledger and iExpenses & iProcurement. Specifically, Latam localizations.
  • Excellent knowledge in PL/SQL and Unix Shell Script
  • Experience in developing and customizing Oracle XML Publisher Reports, Workflow, WebADI.
  • Oracle Application Framework developments, Business Events and Bursting
  • Oracle Database and Performance Tuning
  • Ability to work on Interfaces & Extensions
  • SCM tools – GitHub, JIRA
  • Should have good experience of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Experience in various project methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, Waterfall, RUP, Scrum and Agile)
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Good communicator & presentation skills to senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proven history of successful problem solving with a sense of urgency.
  • Expertise in other programming languages e.g. Java, Python (preferred)
  • Experience in Oracle 12.2 Upgrade (Not essential)
