We are looking for a Modeling and Simulation Engineer specializing in Emulate3D and material handling, who would focus on developing, implementing, and optimizing simulation models of manufacturing, intralogistics, and material handling systems. The engineer would use Emulate3D software to create digital twins of physical systems, allowing for analysis, optimization, and verification of designs and processes.

Key Responsibilities

· Model Development: Create and refine Emulate3D models of material handling systems, including conveyors, AGVs, robots, and other equipment.

· Simulation and Analysis: Conduct simulations to assess system performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize layouts and operations.

· Data Integration: Gather, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to inform model development and simulation.

· Design Verification: Verify the accuracy and validity of simulation models against real-world data and scenarios.

· Emulation: Test production software using emulation and digital twins to virtually commission automation systems.

Required Skills and Experience

· Modeling and Simulation: Experience with discrete event simulation (DES), digital twins, and other simulation techniques. 5+ years of experience with modeling, simulation and emulation systems.

· Emulate3D Proficiency: Strong understanding and experience with Emulate3D software and its capabilities.

· Material Handling Knowledge: Familiarity with various material handling systems, equipment, and processes.

· Technical Skills: Proficiency with object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, Python) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) can be beneficial.

· Education: A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field is typically required.
