Lead Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Lead Technical Business Analyst to partner closely with the Product Management team to migrate Thomson Reuters’ products to our strategic Entitlement solution to provide real time access to our Customers at the moment of the purchase. This role will be part of a Scrum team and will be the point of contact between business and the Engineering/Delivery team.  

About the Role    

In this opportunity as a Lead Technical Business Analyst , you will be responsible to :  

  • Responsible for elicitation, analysis, validation, and documentation of clients’ business needs and requirements.  

  • Develops and improves business processes within the technology and business organizations and understands client requirements, specifying and analyzing these to a sufficient or expert level of detail to ensure clarity of definition.  

  • Recommends and validates technical solutions to meet requirements based on understanding of how technical solutions will impact the business and stakeholders as required .  

  • May work on significant & unique issues requiring evaluation of intangibles and use expertise to provide solutions to complex problems.  

  • Responsible for building and maintaining a relationship with internal or external customers; may include collaborating with Professional Services & outsourcing functions.  

  • May research and analyze current processes and recommends tools for implementation within a project department or division that meets user requirements and is cost effective.  

  • Ensures that implementation follows the design and directs modifications of the design, along with ensuring system assurance methodology is followed.  

  • Proactively identifies , recommends, and implements improvements to the process.  

  • Develops extensive understanding of multiple Thomson Reuters technologies, products, and services.

    Provides specialist advice to middle and senior management to resolve complex issues.  

  • Strategic Planning & Decision Making  
    Anticipates customer needs; assesses requirements and identifies new solutions  
    • Solves complex problems which may be multidisciplinary or require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors  

  • Customer Focus (Relationships - Internal/External)  
    • Develops strong relationships and negotiates with key internal and external customers to identify future needs  
    • Communicates difficult and complex concepts effectively by altering communication style to the audience
