The ideal candidate will have experience in building, maintaining and supporting applications. The successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams and across business units. They must also have demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them effectively.

About the role:
As a Lead Software Engineer at Thomson Reuters, you will:

• This role requires strong technical knowledge, problem solving skills, collaboration and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Develop and support high-quality software solutions using agile methodology
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and implement scalable and reliable systems
• Utilize best practices for coding, testing, and deployment
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and other issues
• Ensure system reliability by performing regular maintenance tasks and monitoring
• Document processes, procedures, and code changes

About you:
You'll be a fit as a Lead Software Engineer if your background includes:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field
• 10 + years of professional experience developing software applications
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and written in English.

Deep technical knowledge in:

• Key Technologies: - Java / JEE - Eclipse/IntelliJ -Web Services, REST API - JavaScript, JQuery, Angular JS - XML, HTML, CSS - MVC, Groovy
• Versioning tools - MS Team Foundation Server (TFS), GIT
• Practices: Unit Tests Frameworks Control (experience with Spring preferred) / mocking, CI/CD
• Other Relevant Technologies: JPA / Hibernate - SQL, RDBMS (Oracle) - Tomcat - XSLT, AWS Ecosystem
