The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating scrum events , coaching the team on becoming self-organized, and ensuring successful delivery of high value outcomes.

About the role

In this role as Jr Scrum Master , you will: 

  • Keep the development team aligned with the scrum framework, values, and agile principles and ensure focus is on continuous improvement  
  • Identify and remove impediments that are blocking the team's progress 
  • Manage dependencies and implement large scale adoption/implementation 
  • Facilitate discussions, collaborate with, and coach product owners and stakeholders to ensure that requirements are clearly defined and ordered 
  • Promote psychological safety to increase transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement and foster a positive environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and high performance 
  • Collaborate with other scrum masters and contribute to ongoing improvements to department-wide agile delivery processes, metrics, outcomes, etc. 

About You:
You're a fit for the role of Jr Scrum Master if your background includes:


Must have: 

  • Deep understanding of the SDLC 
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment 
  • Scrum subject matter expertise with an excellent understanding of Agile mindset and its application in real world scenarios 
  • Strong leadership skills and high level of personal accountability as evidenced by your commitment, resilience, ownership and mindset toward continuous learning.  
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, must be able to build positive relationships, influence, and resolve conflict with teams, stakeholders, and leadership while maintaining psychological safety on all levels.  
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or similar Agile certification 


Nice to have: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 
  • Advanced Scrum master or project management certifications or designations (PMP, A-CSM, PSM II, SAFe, LeSS, etc) 
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or other Agile project management tools and Sharepoint
